Dota 2 Social – A Duel of Dualities

What is a Dota Social?
Dota Socials are designed to allow enthusiasts to meet, play, and socialize in person. All skill levels are welcome and friendly competition is encouraged.

What is a City Clash?
A City Clash is a 2 city Dota Social! With the same semi-casual vibe, teams from both cities will face each other to see which reigns supreme.

What can I expect?
Captains will be chosen to form teams from the attending players; they take turns picking teammates. Toronto teams will face off online against teams from Montreal. Teams are shuffled between games so players have a chance to meet new friends and teammates.

Toronto will be playing out of Waves EGaming, and Montreal will be playing out of the brand new Esports Central Arena. All players must be present at the LAN to participate.

Do we win prizes?
Yes! Prizes are TBA.

How do I pay and attend?
• All Toronto players must PRE REGISTER online at smash.gg/cityclash2
• Entry is $20 and can be paid either online or at the door
OR
• $28.50 gets you a Wave’s membership that includes 15-30 hours of PC time and a bunch of other great perks.

What’s Waves EGaming like?
Waves is one of the newer esports facilities to pop up in the GTA. It’s 13,000 sqf with tons of PC’s and a large main stage. Their PC’s are top of the line with a Corsair gaming chairs and peripherals at every station as well as 240HZ monitors and GTX1080 graphics cards. Drinks and small snacks are available for purchase. There is ample free parking.
