Shockwave – Bi-Weekly Fighting Game Night

Welcome to Shockwave, Toronto’s newest fighting game community gathering, happening bi-weekly at Waves Egaming! Incendium and Waves Egaming are teaming up to bring you awesome tournaments featuring Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, and Dragon Ball FighterZ as the main events. With over 13,000 sqft of space, gaming chairs, awesome BenQ monitors and a super awesome low door fee of $8, the sky’s the limit!

Event Details

When : Every other Wednesday starting March 6th, 2019

Where: Waves eGaming, 2160 Steeles Ave W, Concord, ON L4K 2Y7

Door Fee: $8

Tournament Entry Fee: $5 per game

Prizing schedule: 70/20/10 for brackets over 16 entrants, 80/20 for brackets under 16 entrants

Games Featured: Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Dragon Ball FighterZ

8:00 PM – Tekken 7 tournament begins

11:30 PM – Tournaments wrap

Casual Stations

There will be 4 stations supplied for every major title. Every week there will also be 4 stations dedicated to anime fighters (GGXRD, BBTAG, BBCF, UNIST). We ask that all attendees respect each other’s chances to play by conforming to a 2/3 set rotation where possible. We want to ensure everyone can enjoy themselves.
